American Health Associates

American Health Associates was an interesting client. I started initially with little understanding of what a Phlebotomist did. That word soon became a form of punctuation  by the launch of release 1.0. 

The Discovery phase was a constant contact with the client, so they could closely monitor the progress of the application. Each edit and component was hammered away in the color choices and function. This being the medical field, there were many more regulations controlling privacy, security and accessibility for HIPAA compliance. Big stresser. Though I never lost track of what the ultimate goal was with the client. I was able to focus more heavily on the Design System and creative ways to solve both the calendar and order status.

The Design phase was focused on drafting a new system to align the near 800 phlebotomist on the field pingback data on the drawn samples. Indicating a slew of indicators and testing requires for each order in a minimal and elegant way from a 5 inch screen.
